Typically, how long are the appointments?
Appointments usually last anything between 45 minutes to 1 hour. The initial visit may take longer as I take a comprehensive medical history.
Do I need to have anything ready in preparation for you visiting?
No, I will bring everything with me
Will I have to book again on the day?
Not at all! I am very flexible. You are in control of if and when you want to book future appointments. Some people prefer to book ongoing appointments and others prefer to call as and when they require it.
Why do I need to inform you about my medical history?
It is essential to provide a complete picture of your medical history because your overall health can significantly impact your foot health and the treatments you receive. Sharing your history ensures you receive safe, effective and personalised care, whilst also allowing me to spot and prevent potential issues before they become serious.
Is it okay if someone else is present during the visit?
Thats no problem at all, as long as you are happy.
What hygiene measures do you follow?
Infection control is extremely important in my list of priorities. I take great care to ensure my instruments follow a 2 step sterilisation process. Step 1: the instruments are placed in an ultrasonic cleaner with a detergent. They are then rinsed and dried. Step 2: Instruments are placed in a sterilisation pouch and placed in an autoclave which uses steam under pressure at a high temperature for a specified time. The printer attached to the autoclave indicates if the cycle was successful or not. The autoclave has yearly services.
Where are my records kept?
I use secure, professional software to keep your records up to date. This ensures your treatment history, notes and any relevant details are safely stored and easily accessible when needed. Everything is kept confidential and complies with data protection laws, ensuring your information is secure.
Being a member of the ICO in the UK, I am committed to upholding data protection laws.
How do I pay?
You can pay by Cash, Card (contactless) or a Bacs payment on the day of the appointment.

What My Clients Say
Jemini managed to clear my long standing verruca with very little pain. I am very pleased!
My little boy was very anxious about having his toe-nail treated and it was causing him a lot of pain. Jemini was able to come to our home and treat him here, in the comfort and familiarity of his own surroundings. She was extremely gentle and made my son feel at ease. Jemini also guided us how to manage his nails going forward. We highly recommend her.
Jemini, regularly does podiatry home visits for my elderly parents. Recently, she noticed that dad had a infection in his foot that was brewing. She swiftly, made contact with dad’s GP and arranged medication. She is highly trustworthy and reliable.
In today’s pressures on our health services, it is proving difficult for people like me, a 76 year old man with Parkinson’s disease to receive the care that I need to retain my mobility.
It is with relief and gratitude, when a good friend recommended Jemini, a competent and professional Podiatrist who comes to me regularly! I rely on home visits.
